New York, New York Little Anthony's Restaurant & Lounge has the ambiance of New York circa 1860’s and the cuisine of today’s Milan. Jazz music floats through the air while tuxedo-clad servers bring homemade pastas, charbroiled chicken breasts and tender veal out of the busy kitchen. White tablecloths and subtle décor are juxtaposed by a large striking mural that depicts New York in the 1860’s. Critic’s Pick This elegant restaurant serves a tremendously large selection of appetizers such as baby greens with herbed croutons, spicy brushetta, marinated calamari and steamed garlic mussels. For the main course, the veal dishes are slowly sautéed in lemon butter sauce, sage, basil jus and other fine herbs. The 12-ounce New York steak Alberta AAA Angus beef has been praised by numerous respective food critics for its zesty marinated flavour. Their pastas and risottos are doused in rich tomato and cream sauces which are always made throughout the day for guaranteed freshness. A house specialty is the three-cheese tortellini with smoked chicken and green peas in tomato cream sauce. Another extravagant all-time classic is the penne forestiera with Portobello, oyster, crimini, shiitake and button mushrooms with spinach cooked in an extra virgin olive oil
