Sun Life Financial Tower

The Sun Life Financial Tower is an architectural symbol of modernism, nestled in the heart of Toronto’s financial district at 150 King Street West.

Construction of the stainless steel and glass high-rise structure was completed in 1984 and was originally developed to house the head office of Sun Life 9, now Sun Life Financial.

This 28-storey skyscraper incorporates the latest building systems into 530,000 square feet of premier office space and 20,000 square feet of retail space.

Imaginatively designed, it stands proud of its focus on green building practices aimed at reducing the environmental impact, and setting new standards for improving energy usage and lowering carbon footprint.

The central location connects the Sun Life Financial Tower to the PATH, downtown Toronto’s underground walkway linking 28 kilometers of shopping, services and entertainment. Tenants also have easy access to the TTC Subway, Streetcars and GO Transit access via Union Station.
